Challenger Performance Tackle fishing rods, I will put up against any other high quality graphite rods.  The TGX Series is what I primarily fish with.  An IM - 8 Graphite Blank with Fuji Guides and reel seat and premium cork handle really gives me the sensitive rod, with the backbone I love.  The TGX series is bait specific.  When I want to get the most in sensitivity, the Pro Elite Series really gives me that worm rod that I love!  Pro Elites are made with IM-10 blanks and I swear I can feel it if a fish swims by the bait!  Challenger makes rods not only for bass fishermen, but also for saltwater inland marsh fishing, Blue Water fishing, Fly fishing, and ultralites for those pan fish that fight like mad.

Gambler Lures is my preferred soft plastic.  If you don't like Garlic and Salt, I promise fish do, so don't sweat the smell from the bags.  Fish tend to hang onto these baits even after I've handled them because of the attractants they use.  The Loco Lizard I love to swim over vegitation weightless.  It looks like a baby alligator and Big Fish like baby alligators where I live!  The Cane Toad I use for the same application.  I could write an artical here, but I think I'll ask you to go to their site to see all of their awesome baits.

This lure get's to places that others can't.  Now in the summer when the fish are buried up under cover, this lure goes to them if you are at a pier that is super close to the water that you can't pitch under.  The lure design works and I'm just envious I didn't think of it first!

Secret Weapon Lures is the spinnerbait I use.  It has an inovative design that allows you to change, or add blades on a whim.  The action of the spinner is like an in-line spinner so the thump is completely different than a standard safety pin designed spinnerbait.  This is a lure customizers dream spinner bait and those that know me, know that I do love to open a lure just to start cutting hooks, adding spinners, skirts, or paint.  This lure is made for that!

Sebile lures is a relatively new company the designs were developed by Patrick Sebile and Dave Maynard, of Fishing Across America runs the Sebile USA portion of the company.  The Ghost Walker is an awesome bait that I have taken to using as my primary dog walking bait, and the magic swimmer is really turning everybody's head.  Check out their sight for these exciting baits.

The first major change to a spinning reel design that let's me throw tangle free.  Not to mention it's wicked looking!  Doug Hannon invented it to cast farther because the line peels off faster, but in testing they found that a by-product of the faster stripping line off the spool was kinks are thrown out without tangling.  At the Classic we were wadding loops and reeling over them to cast them out as a demonstration.  You really owe it to yourself to check this one out!

I've gone through lots of fishing glasses over the years, and the only pair I use now are Fishgillz ®, floating polarized  glasses.   FishGillz are ultra-light, wrap around frames made just for anglers and boaters.  They are tough and durable, yet light and flexible.  For those of you that have fished with me, you know how much floating means to me!  I bet I’ve put better than a hundred pair of glasses in lake, river, and Gulf bottoms over the years, well that’s not an issue anymore!  The polarized lenses are made by 3M and offer clear crisp detail of underwater structure.  You have to check these out!

Doug Hannon showing off is inovation again.....The Original Fishing Snake is the most realistic snake bait I've ever fished and I've fished a bunch of em!  This super floating snake looks real enough to run off anybody scared of snakes, but it draws the fish in!  You can see a fish caught on the snake on the Video Audio Page, but that fish doesn't do the lure justice.  I've just never been on camera when I've caught numerous 4 lb. + fish on it.
